Top 10 Objections to the Bible
No.6 – “The Bible was written by man”
No doubt at some point you have heard this opposition to the trustworthiness of the Bible. How can we answer this objection?
The following 3 points can be remembered by the acronym A.C.E.
1) Accept other works of man
We regularly read and listen to other works that we enjoy, subscribe to and potentially change our lives because of what has been said. These are all works of man and include works such as: The Origin of species, The God delusion and even books questioning the Reliability of the Bible.
2) Could be the best way
Pitting his word into written form could very well be the best way for us to know about God’s love and care for us.
It is ever with us, it isn’t subjective or transient and gives us the full picture of God’s plan and direction for our lives.

Hebrews 1:1-2 tells us that the Bible is God’s chosen means of communicating with us today.
“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.”

3) Evidence of Inspiration
The Bible shows clear evidence of a divine hand.
1) Unity of Scripture
2) Extra Biblical Support
3) Archaeology
4) Science
5) Prophecy
